Description Birmingham East and North (BEN) was formed on 1st October 2006, following the amalgamation of the previous Eastern Birmingham PCT and North Birmingham PCT. One of the key goals of the PCT is that people regard BEN PCT as the first choice organisation to work with and for. The PCT provides primary care, intermediate care and community services on behalf of 437,500 people living Britain’s second city. We serve a diverse and vibrant community that includes some of the most deprived wards in the country.
